#ActOnAcne - La Roche Posay Effaclar Challenge Results

I was extremely excited to have received a La Roche Posay #ActOnAcne Effaclar Challenge Pack as I had signed up to take the challenge on their website. I had never tried any of their products before as I always found the different ranges intimidating as I was unsure which would best fit my skin type and concerns. I have acne and blemish prone skin which becomes especially prominent a week or two after I get my face threaded as the pores are sensitive and open. The pack contained three full sized products, including the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel,  Serozinc Zinc Sulphate Solution and the Effaclar Duo Corrective Unclogging Care Anti-Imperfections Moisturiser

The Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel is a cleanser that works effectively on the skin however in a gentle manner. It is suitable for all skin types as it helps control oil production without stripping the moisture out of your skin.

La Roche Posay released the all new Serozinc Zinc Sulphate Solution, which is a spray toner to be applied after cleansing. It takes a few minutes to dry, and once dry you follow up with your moisturiser. I found this spray toner to be incredibly refreshing and awakening in the morning as well as time saving for when you're on the run! However I personally prefer using toners with a cotton pad. I feel they cleanse out the pores more effectively compared to the spray, but that's my personal preference.

Last but not least is the Effaclar Duo Corrective Unclogging Care Anti-Imperfections Moisturiser which I think is an amazing product for those with blemish prone skin as it unclogs pores, reduces scarring and marks as well as reduces the appearance of blemishes. I captured a few photos of my skin before I started the challenge and upon finishing the challenge, and the results are incredible! Over the 4 week challenge, I had also been applying my favourite DIY mask which also helped reduce acne, hyper pigmentation and restore my skin to its natural glow.

If you suffer from oily or blemish prone skin, I definitely recommend having a look at this range as it achieved what it aimed to within 4 to 6 weeks as claimed in the #ActOnAcne Effaclar Challenge. You can browse through the Effaclar range as well as testimonies from others regarding the products here. La Roche Posay is currently available in Priceline stores, Australia wide.
